Y.CO headquartered in the Port of Monaco provides Sales, Purchase, charter, management and project management services for the luxury Yachts.
The Challenge
To create a tablet based brokerage solution for the marketing and retailing of new build and previously owned yachts from all over the globe. This solution had to be able reproduce high resolution images, and allow the customer to frequently update the content available via a web based interface. The customer would also have the ability to sort the entire catalogue by budget, location, and vessel make and model.
Results
An elegant tablet application available in the Appstore which has projected Y.CO onto a global stage, widening their potential customer reach by more than 1000%. A vast catalogue of vessels with the ability for the application to be seamlessly updated with a whole range of information relating to technical specifications, condition, and price. Most encouragingly the return on investment exceeded its forecast and returned a positive contribution in a quarter of the time estimated through increased enquiries and sales. With more functionality and enhancements planned for the future this is a great solution that has truly delivered added value.
