Facebook announce Video capture facility for Instagram
Facebook have just announced a new video feature for Instagram which includes 13 filters, cinema and stabilisation mode.
130 million people use Instagram every month and Facebook have always been looking at ways to build upon it’s success. They have now introduced the facility for users to upload video clips from 3 seconds up to 15 seconds in length.
The new feature will be available for iOS and Android and will also allow users to choose their video thumbnail along with filters and stabilisation – no more shaky video clips!
Facebook’s length of video is double that of Twitter’s ‘Vine’ facility, which has been strongly criticised for it’s amount of spam. Facebook have said they will make sure they have very clear community guidelines for this new video feature which will leverage Facebook’s systems to monitor and flag videos.
What do you think? Would you make use of the new video feature?
