3Squared AGM

6th February 2014

3Squared hosted their 2014 AGM last week, with some exciting developments in store for the company, its clients and staff in the coming year. Held at Sheffield Town Hall, close to 3Squared’s Fountain Precinct base, directors Tim Jones and James Fox laid out plans for an ambitious 2014.

After a record-breaking 2013 for the software development company, the management team reflected on successes that included winning the EIT Customer Experience Award, major new client projects and the introduction of some exciting new client services.

Hard Work

Managing Director Tim Jones thanked his team for the hard work put in over the previous year and asked for it to continue into 2014. The company has some major new projects in the pipeline, with collaborations with some of the world’s biggest technology brands as well as involvement with Europe’s largest construction project. More details on these exciting new projects will follow in the coming months.

Towards the end of 2013, 3Squared successfully promoted its consultancy service, which aims to help clients get the most from technology and is offered alongside the established software development services. A website revamp has highlighted this new business proposition and a redesigned 3Squared logo (above) and branding will be launched in the coming months to underline the positioning of the business in the technology industry.

2014 will see additions to the 3Squared team, with a possible extension of the 3Squared head office in Sheffield city centre to allow for the expansion.

Recruitment Drive

The ever-growing .Net team is also set to continue its growth with 2 new starters joining the company in the coming weeks. The recruitment drive comes on the back of winning major new clients, with the .Net framework being integral to the software needs of many of 3Squared’s bespoke projects.

The year ahead also looks to be a promising one for existing 3Squared staff, as company pension and childcare voucher schemes are both introduced in the next couple of months along plans to achieve Investor in People status.

With 3Squared looking to improve even further on a record-breaking 2013, we are looking forward to continued success for all our clients, staff and suppliers.
