Our Christmas Wishlist

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we thought we’d ask the team which techy gift would make their Christmas complete. With lots of new and innovative technology released over the past year, there was a lot to choose from! The new iPhone 6 has proved very popular, but maybe 3Squared would prefer something a little more unique and innovative. We’ve looked at wearable a lot recently, so perhaps Google Glass or a smartwatch like the Motorola Moto 360 might be more apt. Let’s take a look what’s on the 3Squared Christmas Wishlist…

I’d love the Bose SoundTrue headphones. You don’t have to cram them in your ear like traditional ear buds, but they still isolate sound with high quality audio. I love listening to music so it’s important that my headphones are good quality. The specially designed ear pieces ensure they fit snugly, but comfortably, in your ear without falling out – Perfect for when you’re out and about or exercising. They come in a variety of colours too, if that’s something you look for in your accessories!

This Aorus Gaming Laptop (The X3) is definitely on my wishlist. My current laptop is almost 5 years old and is sadly starting to show its age (much as I love it). It has a great screen with over a 3k Resolution and has enough staying power to last for years to come. It is primarily a gaming laptop, so the specifications are tailored specifically for those that love playing the latest games. You should probably avoid this laptop if you’re a casual user.

Considering my piano is usually about 100miles away back in Bridlington, this M-Audio MIDI Keyboard is a great alternative would be handy as a keyboard to practice on when I’m at home. It is a tad pricy but I have used M-Audio MIDI controllers previously and was impressed with the accuracy of the velocity controls especially when coming from a background of playing fully weighted pianos. It’s USB-powered and supports plug-and-play connectivity to your computer. You can record music straight from the keyboard onto recording software, allowing you to edit and upload it really easily.
